In Pennsylvania, anyone convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor punishable by more than one year in prison—such as an M1 or M2—loses their federal firearm rights. M3 convictions do not cause a federal firearm ban unless the offense is classified as a “misdemeanor crime of domestic violence” under federal law.
Many convictions in PA are eligible for automatic or manual record sealing after a certain amount of years (5 years for Summaries, 7 years for Misdemeanors, and 10 years for Felonies). Sealing means your record is sealed and not visible by MOST but not ALL entities, landlords/jobs etc cannot see a sealed record however law enforcement can.
Most importantly, a sealed record does nothing for restoring Federal Rights. A Governor's Pardon, followed by a full expungement completely restores the rights lost by that charge in Pennsylvania.
A felony conviction in Pennsylvania causes you to lose your federal firearm rights, your ability to serve on a federal jury, and in some cases may affect federal employment or benefits. A Pennsylvania pardon fully restores your civil rights and removes these federal disabilities.

You complete a short intake and we review your conviction, history, and eligibility to determine your odds of success and the best timing to apply.

We gather records, collect supporting documents, draft your personal statement, and finalize all sections of the Board of Pardons application.

Your application is submitted to the PA Board of Pardons and officially enters the review system.

The Board reviews your materials to determine if your case moves forward to the Merit Review stage. This is strictly a paper review—no hearing yet.

The Board votes privately on whether you receive a public hearing. If approved, your case is scheduled for a hearing session.

You appear with your attorney before the Board of Pardons for questions and to present your story. This is the most important step, and we prepare you thoroughly.

The Board votes publicly on whether to recommend your pardon to the Governor.

The Governor reviews the Board’s recommendation. If approved, your pardon is signed and issued.

A pardon makes you eligible to expunge the pardoned convictions.
We can file your expungement petition to fully clear your record.

We offer a flat-rate pardon pardon package that includes all steps of the pardon process from beginning to end. We charge a $2000 flat rate for a pardon application with a maximum of 3 dockets, with additional dockets able to be added for $250. Flexible payment plans available!
